Ronnie, I know you 8767 ve heard this kind of thing always, but I have to say you 8767 re the best teacher ever. I 8767 m gonna do the IELTS exam and I don 8767 t think I am ready for it. Can you give some lessons about it? Xoxo!

HI, thanks for the lesson, i needed help in how to use have and has in a paragraph. for eg: Preserving food by drying, fermenting, salting and smoking .. been in practice for several centuries. would you use has or have? just want to know what the rule is in such situation?

First, remember that like an introduction, a conclusion is something you must have to write an academic essay. This is because essays have conclusions. In other words, it is part of an Essay.

Just a quick question. Do we have to make a short conclusion at the end of each main paragraph? Or it is alright to finish the points and start the second paragraph
directly.

Also, you 8767 re right. However, I have found over the years that the idea of a predicate confuses students more than it helps them understand how a sentence works. That 8767 s why I stay away from it and simplify it to what I presented. Once a student gets to a high enough level, and shows actual interest in grammar, then I can get into more complex ideas.

Did you tell = simple past. We use this with a time marker. Ex. Did you tell him yesterday.
Have you told = present perfect. We use this without a definite time marker. Ex. Have you told him. (We don 8767 t know when)!

Hi Ronnie,
i find your lesson very helpful and no doubt you had make excellent efforts.
I have a question that what form of verb we will use if the pronoun is 8775 it 8776 should we have to use 8775 have 8776 or 8775 has 8776

Very helpful and cleared to undertand. May I asking about to using 8775 has or had 8776 to everyone or everybody(indefinite pronoun)
Example:s Everyone has. 7. Everybody had.

Some people say that too much attention and too many resources are given in the protection of wild animals and birds. Do you agree or disagree about this opinion?

For normal academic writing (. at university) it s true that we try to avoid giving personal opinions, and it s best not to use the word I.
